INEC declares David Mark winner in the Benue South Election Result. Mark won the re-run election with 84, 192 votes. Many officials have confirmed that the election was peacefully conducted.

Benue South Election Result : David Mark declared winner

The Independent National Election Commission, INEC, made the declaration of the former Senate President, David Mark, as the winner of the February 20 Benue South Senatorial District Re-run election early this morning.

According to the break download of the Benue South Election Result (Benue South Re-run) David Mark polled a total of 84, 192 votes while Daniel Onjeh had 71, 621 votes.

Mark won in five local government areas while Onjeh won in four.

While announcing the result by 5.10am on Sunday, the election returning officer, Prof. Ishaku Eneji declared Okpokpowulu k’Idoma winner with 84,192 votes against Dan Onjeh who polled a total of 71,621.

Senator David Mark, who have served as Senate President two times contested under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) while Comrade Dan Onjeh, former NANS leader was of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ).
