Jamb Registration : UTME 2016 Online Registration Open

Jamb Registration : The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME 2016 Online Registration arrangement has been concluded for the sale of 2016/2017 application documents. So all interested candidates are to follow the procedures here to fill the application form.
The 2016/2017 Jamb Registration is started this early to prepare candidates early for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates were urged to purchase the examination scratch cards from any of the following banks.

  1. Zenith Bank
  2. Sky Bank and
  3. First Bank .

”The registration fee for the 2016/20176 UTME is N5,000 and candidates are also to pay  N500 to obtain the textbook, The Last Days at Forcados High School’.

”Candidates will, however, be issued the book at the point of their jamb registration after showing evidence of payment,”

Interested candidates should note that the UTME 2016 registration period would only last from August 31th 2015 to January 15th, 2016. The  registration website will close finally on January 19th, 2016. While the Jamb 2016 Examination had been slated to commence on Feb.29th 2016 and end on March 14th, 2016.


The following procedures are to be followed while registering for the 2016/2017 UTME as directed by the jamb board.


You are to obey the instructions provided here while filling the registration form. Make sure you understand every step in the instruction before filling.

you are to the Brochure carefully before proceeding to fill the registration form. This is to avoid making mistakes in filling the form.

The Sign In page you see first, enables you as a candidate to validate your PIN and allows you to supply your basic personal details including bio-metrics data and Passport Photograph. Note that your Bio-metrics data, Passport Photograph and other Registration details can be captured online or offline. These details shall be verified on first visit (Sign-In) and shall not be required subsequently.

Candidate should note that they are liable for misplacement of their scratch card as your details can be accessed by someone else if found. YOU ARE ADVISED TO KEEP YOUR SCRATCH CARD SAFE.

When you have successfully Signed-In, you shall be redirected to the registration page, if you have not registered before. If your complete registration details including your Examination Town were captured offline, these shall be loaded for re-verification. Note that you cannot change your Exam Town after you have submitted your form.

After filling the form, on the confirmation Page, you will see Discard and Submit buttons.

If you Click on the Discard button, that means you still have intention of re-visiting your form and to make further changes in it. Note that your form gets to JAMB ONLY when you click on Submit button. On submission, you shall be redirected to Registration Slip page for printing.

Note: If you did not submit your form before the close date of the registration which is on January 19th, 2016, your entry is forfeited.

There the jamb board had advised all prospective candidates to ensure they obtained the application forms early as well as  fill their personal data correctly to avoid any mix up.
