It was observed that from the list of top richest people in South Africa this year, Johann Rupert, the Luxury goods tycoon and the chairman of the Swiss-based luxury-goods company Richemont as well as of the South Africa-based company Remgro still remain the South African richest person with an estimated net worth of $7,4 billion (R87 billion)
